New York Niggas vs. San Antonio Spics

How could a team with such a name exist in 2011? I’m talking to you, Washington Redskins. I know there are other offensively named teams out there in various sports, but as a native Washingtonian the I’ll focus on the home team.  We all know it is a derogatory word and offensive towards Native Americans so how is it that the highest judiciary power in the USA wouldn’t even hear the case? If that’s the precedent being set, how about we petition for the creation of a few other teams in the NFL and any other sports league? The New York Niggas has a nice ring to it as does the San Antonio Spics. Kansas City Kikes anyone?
